Important:
RAW camera formats (such as ARRIRAW or REDCODE) should be transcoded to standard MOV or MP4 formats before desqueezing. This app focuses on accurate desqueeze and preview, not full RAW color processing.

What is anamorphic desqueezing?

Anamorphic lenses squeeze the image horizontally during capture to fit a wider field of view onto the sensor. To restore correct proportions, the footage must be desqueezed by the same ratio used by the lens.

Anamorphic Desqueezer applies this correction precisely for both videos and photos, producing true cinematic framing.

How to use (step-by-step)

1) Import media

Select a photo or video from Photos or Files (iCloud and cloud storage supported).

2) Choose the correct ratio

Pick the same ratio used by your anamorphic lens. Preview updates instantly.

3) Preview framing

Confirm proportions and composition before export.

4) Export

Tap Export to save the desqueezed result back to Photos. (Pro may unlock full export quality/options depending on your build.)
